Victoria Jagne is a fully trained Marital/Family Therapist and a licensed Psychotherapist & Counsellor. She is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to the ethical codes of practice of the British Association for Counselling (BACP) and British Psychological Society (BPS).

Victoria has several years of clinical experience working as a clinical therapist/counsellor with a diversity of clients within the NHS, charitable sectors, mental hospitals, education settings, voluntary sector and private practice. Her wide-ranging training in sociology, psychology, psychotherapy, education, human development and social care, enables her to adopt a flexible approach to her work with clients and to respond to the uniqueness of each individual within their particular social environment.

She is also actively engaged in research into living with long-term mental ill health in old age and is contributing to a pioneering initiative to facilitate mental-health support at a community level.

Areas of specialism
We provide Psychotherapy and Counselling Services to Individuals, Couples, Families and Groups in Oxford. In addition, Victoria specialises in working with older adults, especially those suffering from Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Psychotherapy can be a powerful tool in helping dementia patients cope with the uncertainty of their inner and outer world. She has two primary specialties: 1) depth-oriented individual and group psychotherapy and 2) the care of older adults, especially those suffering from Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
