Our team of experienced therapists are here to help    you. We offer CBT, supportive counselling & depth psychotherapy to individuals (aged from 18 years onwards), to couples, older adults & to family groups.

Individual therapy or psychotherapy involves working on a one-on-one basis with a therapist to plan and to create positive changes in your life. Our home-like atmosphere allows clients of all ages to feel comfortable opening up about their concerns. We provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults.

People come in for therapy for a number of different reasons including treatment for depression, anxiety, dissatisfaction with life, eating issues, resolving past trauma, or feelings of emptiness.

Additionally, ongoing psychotherapy is a common and useful means of self-growth and self-actualization. Therapy can help people to resolve barriers which interfere with positive qualities, such as joy, compassion, peace, self-esteem, spiritual connection, and love.

The sessions may focus on current or past problems, experiences, thoughts, feelings, or relationships. This may involve learning new skills, trying out new behaviours, working through old issues, grieving, or letting go of things that no longer
serve health or well-being.

How we work

Counselling is a relationship. Therefore, whether you are looking for individual, couples or family therapy, it is so important that you feel comfortable with the person that you are talking to.

If you have never been to a psychotherapist, the thought of sitting with someone you don’t know, talking about yourself and being vulnerable can seem daunting. Individual therapy can be a rich experience, helping you review how you structure your life in ways that enhance you and also in ways that limit you. It can help bring contentment and enrichment into your life.

For this reason, we recommend that you come in for a half price consultation to meet with a member of our team to see if they feel like the right fit for you. Once you’ve found a therapist that you feel at ease with, you’ll generally meet with them at the same time each week on a weekly or a fortnightly basis. Frequency depends on what’s most appropriate for you & your situation.

All sessions are one hour long & the time is yours to use however you need to. Payment for each session is made at the point of booking.
